Located in the City of Glasgow,        (Pentagon Business Centre,Washington St)

The project started 1st June 2007.

Due to the increasing order book of our established client Merwede Shipyard based in the Netherlands (IHC Merwede) The need for additional long term "stable" engineering resources was recognized.

After a period of discussions and analysis of the potential resources available we reached a "Co-Designer Agreement" which included opening the engineering office for an initial period of 2 years, with the intention to establish a permanent partnership with the Glasgow office.

The co-designer agreement moves away from the traditional sub-contract method, (of 1 project or area of a vessel),with the aim to establish a flexible resource pool which will act as floating capacity, available for whichever project requires the most focus of attention, in basic terms, a Satellite Office operating as an extension of their own NL engineering office.
